Headlines & Features LVJUSD to Hold Board Candidate Information Night On Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 7:00 pm, LVJUSD will host a Board Candidate Information Night for those interested in running for one of two vacant seats on its Board of Education, the policy-making body of the LVJUSD. Interested community members are invited to attend, listen, and ask questions during the informal workshop session held in the LVJUSD Board Room at 685 E. Jack London Boulevard. Comments (-1) LVJUSD Fall Planning Survey Results & Next Steps The LVJUSD Fall 2020 Planning survey was sent to all of our families, seeking their input into the process of planning the start of school for 2020-21. The survey was sent electronically via email as well as text message, and was open for 10 days. 6,045 households participated, representing approximately 10,400 students. Our District Leadership Team is taking this information into consideration as we plan for the start of the new school year. Comments (-1) 2020 Sports Conditioning Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Protocols The Alameda County Public Health Order effective June 8, 2020 now allows for additional permissions for childcare and youth extracurricular activities in outdoor settings. Based on this new county guidance and CIF Return to Physical Activity Training Guidelines, LVJUSD is instituting protocols for high school sports in order to allow for sports conditioning activities.
